Have stayed twice in the Fort apartment, great value, great location and excellent facilities provided. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with outstanding views over Lough Foyle. Three double bedrooms comfortably accommodate six. Greencastle village is five minutes walk away with the excellent beaches at Shroove and Culdaff easily accessible.

Back for more next year :)

The apartment at the Fort is amazing with stunning sea views.  It's comfortable, fully-equipped and everything is very easy to use.  As well as being able to explore Donegal and Derry, the ferry across Lough Foyle is only minutes way which opens up the whole of the north Antrim coast for exploration - the Giant's Causeway, the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge and the breath-taking scenery.  I stayed in april for a week and I'll definitely be back.

Both my little dog & I were made most welcome by Philip & the apartment is decorated to the highest standard, it was spotless, roomy & offered every home comfort. 

We stayed during one of the worst winters on record but the apartment was so warm, cosy & welcoming.

For anyone who enjoys nature, peace & tranquillity I can highly recommend a stay in the Fort Apartments.  Waking up to the sound & sight of the ocean was truly awesome & I managed to capture many much admired images of sunrises & sunsets all aided by our arctic winter. 

The apartment is so well equipped.  It houses every modern convenience which takes the stress out of holidaying for example an oven, hob, microwave, washing machine…even linen is supplied.  There is a TV in the living room, offering all the free view channels, a CD/radio & DVD player. 

It is literally a home from home & a perfect base for anyone who either enjoys tranquillity in a wonderful working fishing village.  

I wish to start my review of The Fort Apartment by thanking Philip most sincerely for one of the most special Christmas’ I have ever experienced.

I have almost all my life sought refuge from the commercialism & ‘madness’ of the Christmas season – travelling overseas most years to without fulfilling my much sought after goal.

I need not have struggled so much had I come upon the Fort Apartments sooner.

We have stayed at the Fort a number of times...love the accomodation, the standard is fantastic. Bridgit & Phil have always made us very welcome.

We are going back agin soon.

Stayed at THE FORT for a weekend in October with my husband and some friends had alovely time.The apartment was very nice and had a great view.Went to Kealys Seafood Bar the food was very good.Hope to go back again next year.

We stayed at the castle property the week before my wedding in Oct. The house is lovely- so warm and cosy and we got a really warm Donegal welcome!

We had a wonderful time at the Fort apartment in June. The two kids loved the views from the living room during the day time and Philip gave us a fantastic welcome.

Stayed a week at the castle for foyle cup 2010, great welcome from Philip, turf fire, pubs resturants beaches, will bring clubs next time !!! 

Stayed in the Castle for Aug bank holiday weekend 2010, lovely house,great value for money, cosy and perfect location - 3 min walk to the lovely fishing village of Greencastle with pubs/shops, ferry port etc. 

The little welcome/info pack is a great idea especially if somebody isn't familiar with area. Philip, is lovely man and wonderful to deal with, very help and accomodating to our needs..even going so far as to post our dogs favourite squeaky duck toy which was mistakenly left behind, back to us. Great personal touch! 

Will definitely be revisiting and will be booking early to avoid dissappointment!

Fantastic property with a very friendly welcome by the owner Phil who welcome us on arrival.

The waterfront views were amazing and I will be booking again for 2011 very soon.

We stayed at The Castle in August 2010. We had a wonderful time. The house was lovely and the welcome we received from Philip was exceptional. Welcome pack most appreciated. We would definitely stay again.
